I found out about this palette watching one of Tati (Glam Life Guru) videos on You Tube and it instantly caught my attention.
It was impossible to find it in my city, actually I bought the other version first, palette n. 02 (I will post soon about it), using a 20% off Sephora discount code.
It took me months to finally put my hands on this YSL palette, it was sold out everywhere, but then I finally found it on Sephora's website.
You might be wondering if it was worth all this waiting, my answer is absolutely yes.
It may looks just like another nude tone eyeshadows palette, but it's the eyeshadow quality that makes it so interesting.
They are so buttery that they feel like cream, but they are fine super pigmented powders, the swatches don't even do them justice.
They apply and blend smoothly and easily, the colors combination is perfect to create various looks for every occasion.
Most of the 10 eyeshadows are shimmery and metallics, but 3 of them are matte (a light beige and two browns).
Inside the palette we also find a double ended eyeshadow brush, which is actually very nice and useful.
The price point it's pretty high, that's what you would expect from a luxury brand such as YSL, I did some research online and I found out that in Italy it's actually cheaper that in other countries (now that's a shocking news lol!).
When it comes to purchase items like this I always wait for some Sephora discount codes, it's a lovely eyeshadow palette.

Trovarla a Bologna è stata davvero un'impresa, infatti in realtà ho acquistato da Sephora prima la versione n. 02 (di cui parlerò in un prossimo post) approfittando del 20% di sconto.
Insomma ci sono voluti mesi per riuscire a trovare questa palette di YSL, stavolta online sul sito di Sephora, perchè era sold out ovunque la cercassi.
Vi starete chiedendo se ne è valsa la pena, a mio parere sì.
Certo non è una novità una palette di toni neutri, ma è la qualità di questi ombretti a renderla particolare.
Sono così burrosi da sembrare in crema, invece si tratta di polveri finissime super pigmentate, gli swatches quasi non le rendono giustizia.
Si stendono e si sfumano con facilità estrema e la combinazione dei colori permette di ricreare una varietà di look per tute le occasioni.
Sono dieci ombretti prevalentemente satinati e shimmer, fatta eccezione per tre colori matte (il primo un beige chiarissimo e due marroni uno chiaro ed uno scuro).
All'interno della palette si trova anche un pennello a doppia punta davvero valido.
Pur trattandosi di un noto brand di lusso, il prezzo è alto, sì, ma non stellare (59,90 Euro), pensate molto meno di quanto costa all'estero!
Ovviamente fate come me e approfittate sempre dei vari sconti che Sephora offre durante l'anno, con il 20% di sconto diventa davvero un ottimo affare.
